Located in Pictou Harbour on the beautiful Northumberland Strait, The Hector Quay Visitors Marina has been a popular stopping place and seasonal port for over 20 years. Pictou's fog-free harbour with deep water barrier-free access, combined with the the warm, calm seas of the Northumberland Strait make it a perfect port to enjoy your boat and the offerings of our picturesque seaside town. Pubs, museums, shops, recreational activities and other services are all within steps of the dock.

Due to Hurricane damage, the marina IS operating at a limited capacity for the 2023 season.

To accommodate transient boaters, we have three mooring balls for overnight stays, with dingy tie-up at the floating dock.

For boaters looking to to tie-up for a few hours during day-time hours, we have two spots on the floating dock available on a first come, first serve basis. There are no overnight tie-ups allowed on the floating dock.

A launch slip on the east-side of Market Wharf is still available at no charge. Parking for boat trailers is limited due to neighbouring construction projects.
