HECTOR QUAY
VISITORS MARINA
Opening 2027

marina redevelopment

The Town of Pictou is transforming the Hector Quay Visitors Marina into a first-class facility that will be open for the 2027 season.  This project will enhance the marina’s capacity and services, including expanded berths and amenities, fuelling stations, water and electrical upgrades, and sewage disposal services. Once complete, no other public marina between Sydney and Charlottetown will offer this level of service. The redevelopment will also create a vibrant public space on the Pictou Waterfront.

During the final phase of development, berths and moorings are not available. However, Pictou Harbour does offer safe anchorage for visiting boaters.  Tenders can be docked at the small wharf at the Love Local Vendor Village.  Many services can be found in walking distance including groceries, hardware, laundry, waterfront restaurants, entertainment and more.  For more information, please call 1-902-485-4372.
